Chapter Update

Congratulations Robins & Morton!

Robins & Morton was awarded a Merit Award at the SMPS Build Business national conference in August for their 70th Anniversary Book.

When planning for Robins & Morton's 70th anniversary, the marketing department began brainstorming ideas for something that would educate and inspire employees, friends, clients, business partners about the company's rich history and culture over the past seven decades.

September Developer Panel

SMPS Alabama had a wonderful turnout for the Developer Panel in September. More than 30 A/E/C professionals came to hear experts from Bayer Properties, Orchestra Partners, Corporate Realty and Evson Incorporated. Panelists discussed trends and working relationships between developers and A/E/C professionals.

SMPS Proposal Webinar

Our chapter hosted webinar on making proposals stand out. We had 15 attend in Birmingham and Mobile. The session offered tips to make the proposal effort easier for marketing teams. Attendees included both marketing and operations professionals from architectural, engineering and construction firms.
